Michael Jackson's emergency call released

The 911 call from a member of Michael Jackson's entourage was released here on Friday, providing an insight into the pop star's

tragic final moments as he lay unconscious.

On a tape released by the Los Angeles Fire Department, the unidentified male caller tells a switchboard operator that repeated attempts to revive Jackson via CPR had been unsuccessful.

The caller also tells the operator that Jackson's personal doctor - who was reportedly being sought by police on Friday - was the only witness to the star's collapse.

Jackson, who was pronounced dead roughly two hours later after being rushed to the UCLA Medical Center, never regained consciousness after collapsing at his rented mansion in the exclusive Holmby Hills neighbourhood.

The following are excerpts from the exchange:

CALLER: "We have a gentleman here that needs help and he's not breathing. He's not breathing and we're trying to pump him, but he's not...

OPERATOR: "OK. How old?"

CALLER: "He's 50 years old, sir."

OPERATOR: "He's not conscious, he's not breathing?"

CALLER: "He's not breathing."

OPERATOR: "And he's not conscious either?"

CALLER: "Not conscious, sir."

OPERATOR: "OK. Alright. Is he on the floor, where is he at right now?

CALLER: "He's on the bed, sir."

OPERATOR: "Let's get him on the floor."

CALLER : "OK."

OPERATOR: "Let's get him down to the floor. I'll help you with CPR right now. We're on our way. We'll help you on the phone. Did anybody see him?

CALLER: "Yes, we have a personal doctor with him, sir."

OPERATOR: "And you have a doctor there?"

CALLER: "Yes, but he's not responding to anything. He's not responding to the CPR or anything."

OPERATOR: "Oh, OK. We're on our way there. If your guy's doing a CPR instructed by a doctor, you're a higher authority than me. Did anybody witness what happened?

CALLER: "No. Just the doctor, sir. The doctor's been the only one here."

OPERATOR: "So the doctor was there? Doctor, did you see what happened, sir?

CALLER: "Please --"

OPERATOR: "We're on our way. I'm just asking the questions for the paramedics while they're on their way."

CALLER: "He's pumping the chest but he's not responding to anything, sir, please."

OPERATOR: "We're on our way. We're about a mile away. Be there shortly."

CALLER: "Thank you, sir."

Michael Jackson's death ends London comeback concert series by Anschutz's AEG

The death of Michael Jackson puts an end to plans by Denver entrepreneur Philip Anschutz's live entertainment company to stage a series of comeback concerts by the pop star in London starting July 13.

The concerts were to be staged by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) at London's 20,000-seat O2 Arena, formerly known as the Millennium Dome, which AEG operates. They were to be Jackson's first in 12 years.

Jackson died Thursday of an apparent heart attack.

AEG and its Los Angeles-based AEG Live unit are parts of the Denver-based Anschutz Co. AEG is one of the industry's largest concert promoters.

Some $85 million in tickets had been sold for the series of 50 concerts, billed as "This Is It," the music-industry trade journal Billboard reported. Prices averaged about $115 in U.S. dollars, Billboard said.

About 750,000 people have bought tickets, the BBC reported.

Billboard estimated potential profits from the shows at $115 million through ticket sales, VIP packages and merchandise, plus more from a proposed tour following the London dates.

The Los Angeles Times reported Friday that AEG Live had invested more than $20 million in the show's production. It said the show was to have featured as many as 22 sets as well as high-wire acts.

AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips, in a May interview in Billboard, called the show's technology "the most cutting edge ever employed on a tour. We're using technology that's never been used before in live entertainment."

News reports said Jackson, 50, had undergone an extensive physical recently in preparation for the series of shows to satisfy insurance requirements and had passed the medical tests.

There have been reports that AEG had trouble getting insurance for the show series. But in the May interview, Phillips said AEG Live "is well insured for the event" after having earlier said the company might have to "self-insure" the shows.

There was no immediate comment on the situation from AEG or the Anschutz Co.

"in my blog. because that was the first book i ever read it in my life,i could remember the name Chettan Bhagat, yeah you are right he is the authour of this book. you may familliure with this name and his inventories before, but i dont know anything about before i read that book, after read that book i got some expectation on his books and that book "one night.."was his third book. after that i got the other two books and i read that all. that much level his book "one night at the call centre" impressed me much... one day the authour happen to travel in a train alone on that time a gorgeous girl came their to travel in the same compartment with chatten and she told him that she will tell a story he has to write it as a book... after some arguements he accepted the deal the story is starting like this and that was the story about the events happening in the call centres and it narates the single night events movin with cute love story... in that story all the charactors are facing the some problems and get frustrated and ultimately they got in to the accident at that time one call is coming from the un known number that was no one else other than the GOD. she told the story and after somw times she disappeared then only the authour coming to know that the gorgeous girl travelled with him entire night was the goddess..,
it was really interesting and nice to read that book, if you have a time to read i would like to recommend you to prefer this book...one more information this Book has been released as the Hindi movie also... meet you all in my next post...

Happy to inform you all that Deccan chargers reached the endpoint of this year IPL. Yesterday they won the game against the Unbeatable Dare Devils and easily entered in to the finals with the support of their skipper "Gilli". He has scored 85 runs in just 35 balls. He has reached 50 runs in just 17 balls. His tremendous starting of the first over only helped them to win easily as he scored 21 in first over itself. Deadline to shift iron market : June 15

The Madras High Court has set June 15, 2009 as the deadline for shifting the wholesale trade in iron and steel from the George Town area to Sathangadu on the city’s northern outskirts.

A Division Bench, comprising Justices P.K. Misra and D. Hariparanthaman, made it clear that any transgression of its direction would result in initiation of contempt proceedings.

The Bench was passing orders on a writ petition filed by K.R. Ramaswamy alias Traffic Ramaswamy and P. Vadivelu, seeking a direction to authorities to shift the iron and steel market godowns and sales shops from George Town residential area to the space allotted to them at Sathangadu, keeping in mind the safety of the public and free flow of traffic in the city.

The Bench said that the case indicated the lackadaisical attitude by all concerned in implementing the order of the Housing and Urban Development Department that set the deadline as February 28 1999 for the shifting.

In this am not going to talk about the very big giant level sectors I am going to talk about children private sector. Yes you are right that is nothing but private tuition center. You believe it or not the tuition center is the battle field for the children after return to home from the school. Yeah it is true, because according to my observation, the child will feared out of the work and test given by the private tuition is more than the school because I was also experienced same kind of situations when I was schooling. You can find the separate note book and the satchels for the private tuition with the school children. In school also there will be leave (holidays) in Sunday, festival days and government holidays but in tuitions there is no holidays for anything even in the august 15 also. Even though it is easy to get the leave for 2 to 3 days to go outside with family and friends you cannot get it from tuitions, the children are afraid out of asking leave there. The guy will be very lucky if the school and the tuition teacher are same. Otherwise he/she has to struggle with the both the things. If the school teacher comes to know that the child is going for the private tuition other than that teacher, who is taking the private classes too then that is the end. Now a days it is very usual that the children getting the punishment when he caught by his school teacher while doing his tuition work. The tuition is the different world different government where no one can ask them any questions. The tutors they would be the wealthier pupil in that particular area. Their will be 4 to 5 teachers each one for each subject they will put the time table and they will take the class accordingly, now a days it is becoming as a great business to earn. In the township and in the city side you can easily find the 2 to 3 group of teachers taking the classes in common premises. Even the school salary is nothing for these kinds of teachers compare to the money earning from these private institutions. The reason behind this all is the parents not believing only the school will not make their Child to shine in their studies. How they will believe if most of the teacher is conducting the private sectors like this.

Yesterday the Match between Mumbai and Delhi made Delhi to take over the first place in the ranking again. Bravo only scored 35 runs of 30 balls. Yesterday Chennai has been really feard out of the stunning performance of the yuvraj. He hitted the Huge Sixer of 113Meters, Which no one has done this before. He really dominated the CSK bowllers well. Hi to all.. Happy to meet you with an intersting news that Chennai Comes to first in the ranking again. &Yesterday match was highly pressured on both to chennai kings and panjab kings. Dhoni has given a short time half century after a long time. yesterday i happend to see the old sixer Dhoni again, and the Man of the Match Hayden who is the Master Blaster of the match really did a great work to make the run rate high. And Suresh Raina,who turned the match to the winning path of CSK side. His bolleing of the two overs only made the Yuvraj and Jayawardne to frustrate and stp them to score. Earlier overs the runs are going like anything, 18 per over and 20 per over etc but after coming of Raina it has been stopped. In the two overs of his 10 runs only can score by Yuvraj and Jayawardne including the 2lb.We should not leave the great L.Balaji in this article to mention, he is the man stopped the run at the final over and end the mission well with the high pressure.

Rainbow Effect on Photo(GIMP Tutorial)

As 4^th year Computer Science student, one requirements in order to pass and to graduate this course is the subject ITC 100 which the fourth year students should organized their own seminar but this time our seminar is cancelled and we changed it to workshop. Last Saturday January 10, 2009 we started the workshop and it is only intended for 2 Saturdays only, so our last workshop is on January 17, 2009, during that time, we, the organizers are in charge on giving tutorials to the selected students of our school. The fourth year students decided that our topic will be GIMP or the GNU Image Manipulation Program which is free software that you can download online. It just like the Photoshop because in GIMP, you can also edit your pictures and make such graphics or wallpaper. One of the topic which we discuss in our workshop is the Rainbow Effect on Photo. I like this tutorial very much. So if you want to know about this tutorial, I have here the list of steps which you are going to followed.

1. Open GIMP. Go File>New and make it whatever size you want. I used 500 x 660 canvas size.

2. Next go File>Open as Layer and choose your base. I used this:

3. Select your top layer/base and go Layer>Color>Desaturate.

4. Go Filters>Artistic>Photocopy and fiddle with your settings until it looks something like this:

5. Use the ‘Select regions by color’ tool. Click on a patch of black somewhere, it doesn’t matter where.

6. Delete your base layer. Now you should have only your original background with the dotted ‘marching ants’ outline of your pic.

7. Create a new transparent layer.

8. Set your Foreground and background colors. Just choose the color you want, but in this tutorial I used red for the foreground and blue for the background. Select the Gradient tool. Keep it set to Normal at 100% opacity. Use FG to BG.

9. Now click and drag making a line over your picture. Just click on the picture whether it is horzontal or vertical depending on you.

10. Now go Select>None

11. Flatten your image and you’re done.

Two Indians kidnapped and Killed

Hi everybody, I am just here to inform you that Two Indo-Canadian teenage boys were killed in gang-style violence at Abbotsford near here Friday. Abbotsford is home to one of the largest Punjabi communities in Canada.

Joseph Randay and Dilsher Gill, both 18, were reportedly kidnapped at gun-point from a city park at dinner time Thursday by a car-borne assailant, Amarjit Randay, father of the one of the slain teenagers, told the media. Their bodies were discovered inside the abandoned car on a rural road Friday.

Randay said his son Joseph and Gill were hanging out with their school mates in the park when the assailant pulled up to them. He said his son confronted the assailant when he tried to kidnap two other teenagers by pointing his gun at them.

With Remote Desktop, you can connect to your work computer from home and access all of your programs, files, and network resources as though you were actually sitting in front of your computer at work.

You need three things to create a remote location:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional must be installed on the computer containing the files and programs that you want to access from a remote computer. The computer must also be part of a corporate network in which Remote Desktop connections are permitted. This computer is known as the host.

The remote computer must be running Windows 95 or later. This computer must also have the Remote Desktop Connection client software installed. The remote computer is known as the client.

Both computers must be connected to the Internet through a VPN connection.

Note: If you're not connecting to the host computer through a VPN, you'll need to use the actual IP address of the host computer instead of the computer name.

To set up the Remote Desktop, start with the host computer, which in this example is your work computer.

1.	Verify that you are signed in as the administrator.

This morning I heard a true and sad story from a colleague of mine. She told me one of her friends is always having abortions. When the foetus gets to be 2-3 months old she loses it. This happened several times over. The Sam Kee building is situated at 8 West Pender Street . It runs from the corner of Pender and Carral to the lane at the halfway point of the block. It is two storeys tall and 1..5 meters (six feet) deep. The story behind the building is as exotic as the structure with several intriguing twists and turns included in its telling. The City of Vancouver provided the original owner, Chang Toy, with a challenge when it expropriated all but two meters of his property as part of an expansion of Pender Street . No compensation was provided to its owner who was left with what most believed to be a useless property. In a creative turn of events fuelled by spite and some say a bet an architect was hired to design a building to fit the remaining property. The rest is history in more ways than one.

This building was home to 13 businesses at one time. It was the only place in Chinatown for residents to enjoy hot baths. There is a tunnel beneath the building that was used as an escape route from raids on Opium dens situated on neighbouring Shanghai Alley.. The building is also fronted by the only remaining glass sidewalk in Chinatown . As part of the ongoing history of this structure, issues still arise between the owners and the city with respect to encroachment and overhangs. In spite of each side having an element of right it seems to boil down to the proverbial 'tit for tat'. It makes for an interesting study in civics…

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save> their lives!!
